I think these ones are the best pancakes I have ever had. The recipe originally comes from The Australian’s Women Weekly “50 fast desserts” but I got it here. Enjoy!
Ingredients (makes 10 pancakes):
1 cup flour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
2 tbsp icing sugar
1 ¼ butter milk
1 beaten egg
2 tsp golden syrup or honey
20 g melted butter
1 ½ sliced banana
Additionally: golden syrup, pecan nuts
Mix flour, sugar and baking powder in one bowl. In the other bowl mix an egg, butter milk, syrup and melted butter. Mix both bowls and fold in the bananas.
Fry without oil on non-sticky pan. Flip when there will be bubbles on the surface of the pancakes. Fry till brown.
Serve as desired.
