As usual on Sunday I have tried another kind of pancakes. I love oats and was curious about this combination. They are lovely with jam and that’s how I ate them. I found my recipe here. Enjoy!

Ingredients for 25 pieces:

2 cups oats

2 ½ cups butter milk

2 large eggs

60 g melted butter

½ cup flour (might be a bit more)

2 tbsp sugar

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

Mix oats with butter milk and set aside for 15-30 minutes (I waited around 60 minutes).

After that add eggs, melted butter and mix well. Add the rest of the ingredients, gently mix and set aside for another 10 minutes.

Fry on a medium heat, pouring not too thick pancakes. You can use a bit of oil but not necessarily.

Serve with jam, maple syrup, fruit syrup or as desired.
