Yes, it’s happening! I am slowly running out of the recipes for pancakes. Thankfully there are still some left in the interweb. This recipe come from here. I have mixed feelings about these pancakes. I think I am not a big fan of orange taste in them. I still think it is a good option for a breakfast though, especially that it seems to be healthier than the other “normal” pancake’s recipe. Try it!
I bought my cookie press some time ago but never got the chance to actually use it. And then last week I needed a break from work and decided that I will have a little bit of fun and prepare some tea cookies (like these ones). It was really easy. The only thing I do not like about this machine is the fact that the cookies come out of it really small. Maybe I should call them one-bite cookies? So or so, enjoy!
Yum, yum… Had some leftover full cream and wanted to use it on something tasty and lunch-appropriate. I found this recipe on my guru’s website and said to myself “hmm… crepes with full cream? how will they taste?” Believe me, it is worth making them. I enjoyed my crepes with apple mousse (how else? ;)) but you can serve them with all the sweet fillings one likes. Enjoy!
I found this recipe ages ago, when my cooking adventure was just starting. Sadly the blog I took it from does not exist anymore so I cannot show you from where the recipe came from originally. I think this way of preparing apples may serve as a breakfast or as a dessert. The only thing one must remember is to cut the apples into slices no more than 0.5 cm thick, otherwise they will stay crunchy and won’t cook. Enjoy!
I wanted to make this English tart for a long time. I was looking for a proper recipe and of course found it on my favourite blog. According to Wikipedia, Bakewell tart was developed from the Bakewell pudding (this one was made by accident in 1860s). It consists of a shortcust pastry base, spread with jam and covered with a sponge-like filling enriched with ground almonds (known as frangipane). I liked the combination of raspberries and almonds. Try it yourself!
