Today Scottish drop scones for which the recipe came from a book of Anne Sheasby ‘The big book of bread’. They remind me of normal pancakes but with baking soda. I added some vanilla sugar to the batter to add some flavour matching to apple mousse. Another simple and tasty breakfast. Enjoy!
Ingredients (for 10-12 pancakes):
110 g flour
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
25 g sugar
1 lightly beaten egg
150 ml milk
Mix all the ingredients.
Fry on (lightly coated with oil) pan, on medium heat till air bubbles appear on the surface. After that flip and fry till golden.
