My favourite pesto is the really basic one made from basil. I was curious to check the taste of this one, specifically because I really like the taste of parsley. Also I have never made a pesto from scratch so was anxious to try. It was really easy to make and the result was refreshing. I found the recipe here. Worth to try!
It was requested from me for a picnic at work. Picnic which after all turned into a big feast indoors ;). Nonetheless it was quite delicious. I let the yeast work overnight and finished it in the morning so it was fresh and very tasty. The recipe comes from here with my filling modifications.
I felt like having pierogi. Was a bit afraid that the filling will not match but it was really good. It tastes a little like a pie but in a form of pierogi. I found the recipe ages ago but did not write down the address so I will not share it here. Sorry. The dish is totally worth making. Enjoy!
Had to come up with something for a Saturday dinner and found this tart while looking through a BBC Good Food book called “101 cheap eats”. I was a bit sceptical about the taste but I was not disappointed. The result was creamy and dreamy ;). Totally worth trying!
Lecho is an originally Hungarian dish consisting of peppers, sausage, bacon and onion and sometimes also tomatoes. I learnt how to make lecho at home. My mom is making it every now and then and I really like it. Last Sunday was full of spring vibe and I decided that it’s time for vegetables. And so I committed lecho. Enjoy!
Yum, yum… Had some leftover full cream and wanted to use it on something tasty and lunch-appropriate. I found this recipe on my guru’s website and said to myself “hmm… crepes with full cream? how will they taste?” Believe me, it is worth making them. I enjoyed my crepes with apple mousse (how else? ;)) but you can serve them with all the sweet fillings one likes. Enjoy!
