I wanted to make this cake for a long time, since one does not have to do any baking for it whatsoever. We have a candy bar in Poland called this way. It’s a mix between caramel, cookies and chocolate. To be completely honest I prefer this cake over the candy any time. The recipe is a combination of many. They all say pretty much the same with the exception in preparation of a custard cream. Some boil the butter with milk and sugar and some just boil everything and mix it with butter when the custard is cool. So or so it is worth trying! Enjoy!
Few weeks ago I promised to bring some cookies to my language course’s class. It was hard to choose the kind of cookies to please everyone and so this recipe was one of five which I was considering. Tiramisu – yummy, brownie – yummy so when I saw this combination on my favourite blog I knew I will make it. The end result is really good, especially if you do love chocolate like me. Just make sure to not overmix the mascarpone or it will be too leaky and land on the bottom of the cake like in my case. Enjoy!
This was my birthday cake. It took a lot of preparation and determination but it was totally worth it. I love the combination of cherries, whipped cream and a chocolate cake. I love Bailey’s so when I read here that I can add it to a chocolate mousse I was 100% sure that I will prepare it as soon as possible. It was super delicious and seemed dangerously light. This recipe was tempting me for a long time but I always had something else to prepare. So finally when two bananas in my fruit bowl were visibly overripe I decided that it is time to make them. Finally had some time and possibility to make something tasty. Never really was into cheesecakes without baking but this one stole my heart. It takes only 30 minutes to prepare (minus the cooling time)! Plus it’s very creamy, light and simply yummy. I took the recipe from here. Enjoy!
My mom calls this cake a toffee cake but really it is much more than that. It has a cherry-jam layer combined with salty crackers layer covered with toffee and whipped cream. The combination of tastes is mouth-watering and it was a hit on the lab party I organised two weeks ago. Enjoy!
I made this cake for my friend’s birthday and was afraid that it might not taste good. It did though! I think it took 5 minutes for it to disappear completely. Mix of figs, hazelnuts, chocolate and cranberries in sweet meringue and on top of that mix of mascarpone and Nutella with just a touch of alcohol made this cake unbelievably delicious. I will certainly prepare it again. Found it in the book of my guru but one can also find it on her blog. Enjoy!

New muffin forms were a good excuse to make these cakes. They were really moist and soft. That is important to me because I am not a big fan of dry cakes. The addition of whipped cream made them really similar to a famous Black Forest cake. I think it is worth making them. The recipe comes from this blog. Enjoy!
