During the first two years of living in Switzerland I always had a cinnamon roll scone with my coffee in the morning. Those scones were truly amazing and I could have never find anything even slightly similar to them anywhere else. This recipe was one of the tries of finding that taste once again. It’s close and delicious but not quite there yet. I got the recipe here. Enjoy!
I love apples and I love tarts (the same goes for cheesecakes ;)). I like the simplicity of this recipe and decided to give it a try. The result was delicious and I will certainly make it again. You can substitute the apples with plums and cinnamon with ginger and ground almonds. Enjoy!
I am a big fan of a ginger bread and all kinds of Christmas cookies because of the smell they have. This is another proposition for Christmas baking – Lebkuchen. They are of German origin and are really aromatic. What’s even more important is that they don’t need to be stored in a sealed container for long to get soft. The recipe comes from here. Enjoy!
Christmas is getting closer! I am trying out different recipes for Christmas cookies with Lebkuchen and Katie’s cookies (Katarzynki) waiting in a queue. This is the first kind I tried. Really delectable, crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside. Easy to prepare and irresistible in taste. Try it! Totally worth it! I found the recipe here.
