BBQ-ing with friends made me to look for a dessert recipe which would satisfy most of them. And I found one. This pie is a perfect treat for Snickers’ fans and caramel. It is made on a cookie base so no baking needed and I think it is a great idea for hot days when putting the oven on is the last thing on someone’s mind. Recipe comes from a book by D. My son’s first birthday was a great opportunity to make this cake. Ever since I saw it the first time, I wanted to make it. I divided my work into 3 days, first baked the layers, then soak them with punch, spread the cream and let it be in the fridge overnight and then on the day of my son’s party I have decorated it. It was totally worth this much of time. It looked wonderful and was very, very tasty. Found the recipe here. Enjoy!
Tiramisu – yummy, brownie – yummy so when I saw this combination on my favourite blog I knew I will make it. The end result is really good, especially if you do love chocolate like me. Just make sure to not overmix the mascarpone or it will be too leaky and land on the bottom of the cake like in my case. Enjoy!
I made this cake for my friend’s birthday and was afraid that it might not taste good. It did though! I think it took 5 minutes for it to disappear completely. Mix of figs, hazelnuts, chocolate and cranberries in sweet meringue and on top of that mix of mascarpone and Nutella with just a touch of alcohol made this cake unbelievably delicious. I will certainly prepare it again. Found it in the book of my guru but one can also find it on her blog. Enjoy!

Yummy! Very delicate, mouth-watering and heavenly light (at least that’s the impression without looking at the calories ;)). I wanted to make it for a long time but always some ingredient was missing. Finally I made it and it was sooooo tasty. The best combination of flavors and textures I tried till now. In a cheesecake of course. It’s delicate, with a hint of marcipan and the same time not too sweet. Ever since I have tried mascarpone in my blue berry sweet rolls I wanted to try it with something else. After short research I have decided to prepare a sweet roulade filled with it and some strawberries. Really short preparation is a big plus.
