It’s now a tradition for me to have a new kind of pancakes for every Sunday’s breakfast. This time was no different. Kuptermas come from Russian or to be even more precise Tatarian kitchen. They are delicate, sweet and based on semolina. You can fry them on a small pan as a one big pancake or like me split it into small ones as you would do with normal pancakes. I found the recipe here. I tried to make this pie once before and I failed miserably. I think the problem was the lack of semolina and proper explanation. I prepared it once again this weekend and the result was quite delicious. It’s a very specific pie. It’s easy to prepare and definitely worth trying. My recipe comes from here and here.
