I got this recipe from my mom. I have helped her making those cookies and even though we made like 50 of them, I do not think it took us more than 20 minutes (that includes kneading and peeling apples). And of course, the result was delicious. Enjoy!
I loved this bread from the first bite! I got to know it many years ago and was keep promising to myself that I will prepare it at some point. A barbecue was a great opportunity to finally fulfill that promise. The preparation of those was really easy and the result delicious. I got my recipe on this blog. Enjoy!
I have a phase for blueberries so decided to prepare some yeast buns filled with them and top it off with vanilla crumble. The result was delicious. This kind of buns it a traditional sweet roll Polish people buy in the summer. I am glad they came out as the original ones I know from my country. I used two recipes to make them which come from here. Enjoy!
One of the cakes I served at work on the day of my birthday. I know it is not very fancy but the taste was amazing and I know my lab members like sweet things like this one. I took the recipe from here and used half of the ingredients. Because of the addition of yeast this cake is the best fresh or the next day. Enjoy!
It was requested from me for a picnic at work. Picnic which after all turned into a big feast indoors ;). Nonetheless it was quite delicious. I let the yeast work overnight and finished it in the morning so it was fresh and very tasty. The recipe comes from here with my filling modifications.
I know, I know… most of you know doughnuts as the ones with the holes inside. In Poland doughnuts look like the ones on the picture above and the ones with the holes we call simply “tyres”. Polish tradition calls for doughnuts during Fat Thursday. Eating at least one is supposed to help in being happy the entire year ahead. I prepared them last weekend because I liked the picture and the recipe on this website. They are delicious! Too bad I cannot eat more than 1-2 doughnuts one time…
